If you think someone spilled a can of paint on this Rolls-Royce Spectre, you're wrong. The brand has just unveiled a unique model, called Semaphore. On the hood, it is a true work of art inspired by the good vibes of California.
Rolls-Royce is a brand known for offering its customers a tailor-made customization of its models. With the presentation of the Spectre Semaphore, the British firm has just demonstrated this again. The electric coupe takes its name from the Bespoke Semaphore Yellow color of the bodywork. This unique Spectre sports a work of art on its hood. This one is said to have required more than 160 hours of work.
The company describes the artwork as an “abstract homage to the Golden State and California.” When you see the result, it looks like someone spilled paint on the Spectre’s nose before taking some tight turns! But that’s not exactly the case. Rolls-Royce employees applied a silver lacquer and several layers of clear coat to achieve a “perfect finish.”
Inside, the model keeps the yellow theme. The Spectre Semaphore is entitled to a combination of lemon yellow and Bespoke yellow for the upholstery. The different shades of yellow are joined by softer touches of white and slate gray. The wooden inserts of the dashboard are painted in a gray infused with silver glitter. Finally, the door sills are adorned with a Pebble Beach 2024 plaque, the place of presentation of the vehicle.
On a custom model, the performance and engine generally remain the same. This is the case of this Spectre which offers a power of 577 hp and a torque of 895 Nm. All powered by a large 120 kWh battery. The model promises 428 km of autonomy, which is more than enough to display this hood almost everywhere. The Spectre Semaphore will be exhibited on August 16 at Monterey Car Week in California.
