Jeep Avenger: the electric SUV

 Jeep Avenger: the electric SUV

After the hybrid, Jeep continues the electrification of its range with the launch of its very first electric car. Equipped with the latest technologies from the Stellantis group, the Jeep Avenger should appeal to all fans of the brand but also conquer new customers. We tell you everything!

An electric SUV designed for the European market

Unveiled at the 2022 Paris Motor Show, the Jeep Avenger is starting its career with a bang. Even before the first deliveries, Jeep's first electric car has already been voted Car of the Year 2023 and Best Family SUV by the Women's World Car of the Year award... It seems that its bold design and advantageous dimensions won over the jury …

Entirely manufactured in Europe, this electric SUV combines all the qualities of a Jeep, all with compact dimensions which allow it to position itself as a real instrument of conquest to attract a clientele that is both younger and more feminine.

Although limited to 4.08 meters in length, the Jeep Avenger has an interior spacious enough to comfortably accommodate five people. The passenger compartment offers 34 liters of storage space, while the trunk can hold up to 355 liters or even 1,250 liters with the rear seat folded.

Equipped with the latest generation of driving aids, the Jeep Avenger promises an on-board experience that is both digital and connected thanks to level 2 autonomous driving, a large 10.25-inch touch screen and a digital dashboard of 10.25 inches.

156 horsepower under the hood

Coming from eMotors – the joint venture of Stellantis and Nidec – the Jeep Avenger's engine is based on a second generation M3 unit. Operating at 400 volts, this motor unit powers the front wheels and offers up to 115 kW of power, which corresponds to 156 horsepower, and displays a maximum torque of 260 Nm.

In the end, this electric Jeep has nothing to envy of thermal models! Its maximum speed thus reaches 150 km/h for a 0 to 100 km/h achieved in 9 seconds.

More than 400 km of autonomy

The consumption of the Jeep Avenger is quite simply one of the best in the category: 15.4 kWh per 100 km in the WLTP cycle. To do this, each element of the motor/battery assembly has been optimized by the manufacturer, starting with the battery pack itself. Also produced by Stellantis, this has a capacity of 54 kWh, which ensures a range of up to 400 km in the WLTP cycle and more than 550 km in the 100% urban cycle.

Very compact, the Jeep Avenger's electric battery is located under the front and rear seats and under the central tunnel. A layout that has no impact on the aesthetics or balance of the SUV. Doubly protected by ground clearance and protective plates under the bodywork, it is designed to withstand all collisions.

Jeep Avenger: charging in a flash

Comfortable in the city but also outside, the Jeep Avenger relies on a versatile charging device. In alternating current (AC), its standard on-board charger delivers up to 11 kW. Enough to recover 100% energy in 5h30 at a public charging station. Those in a hurry can opt for the fast charging connector. Accepting up to 100 kW in direct current, it allows you to recover up to 30 km of autonomy in just 3 minutes!

To complete this charging experience, Jeep has developed a set of connected services, Uconnect Services. Free, this device allows the owner to stay in touch with their Avenger via the Jeep+ mobile application. This includes a programming functionality to choose the ideal charging time. The app also allows you to check the battery level, locate the vehicle or lock/unlock it remotely.

Finally, the electric Jeep Avenger comes with Free2move eSolutions and its charging solutions. The eSolutionsCharging app works in 29 countries, covers nearly 450,000 charging points and manages all activities related to Avenger charging.

For greater simplicity, the new Jeep Avenger has been available in a reduced range with four finishing levels:
