Porsche presents the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade. An exceptional model with a very special paint job. This unique piece will be officially presented on September 5 in Singapore, then auctioned in 2025.
A unique Porsche Taycan
The brand wanted to develop a unique model as precious as a jewel. The Jade stone in this case. This is how the Porsche Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade was born. The development of this extraordinary car lasted about a year. The German firm specifies that the painting was done exclusively by hand and that it required 80 hours of work.
For the first time in its history, Porsche has mixed two ChromaFlair pigments. This paint allows the Taycan to change color depending on how you look at it. It is composed of a central layer of opaque and reflective aluminum, surrounded by a layer resembling glass. This gradient paint is not only found on the body of the Taycan. It is also found on the model designation on the back, on the “Electric” logo and on the cover of the key ring created especially for this Celestial Jade edition.
The Sonderwunsch program strikes again
In addition to its spectacular paintwork, the car features a logo designed specifically for this unique version in several places. It is inspired by “LongMa”, a mythical being with a dragon’s head and a horse’s body who is said to have “great power and strength”. It is a symbol of good omen. This logo can be seen on the front and rear door sill strips, on the door projector and on all headrests.
The Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade was developed as part of the Sonderwunsch program, in collaboration with the Asia Pacific team. This program, which was introduced in the late 1970s, enabled the brand to design personalized and unique cars.
