Ford Unveils Very Special Mustang Mach-E for 2025 Pikes Peak Hill Climb

Ford Unveils Very Special Mustang Mach-E for 2025 Pikes Peak Hill Climb

Ford has just unveiled a Mustang Mach-E equipped with three electric motors. A carbon fiber prototype developed specifically for the track. The model will start the Pikes Peak 2025.

With its Ford Performance branch, the American manufacturer regularly indulges in transforming its production models into real racing cars. The latest prototype is a Mustang Mach-E equipped with a number of specific elements. The machine has three electric motors housed in a carbon fiber body.

A Mustang Mach-E with 1,500 hp?

Inside this sporty Mach-E, we find a 78 kWh battery. Unfortunately, Ford has not given many details on the performance of its electric machine. But as is the case for the SuperVan 4.2, we can expect a power greater than 1,000 hp. Certainly around 1,500 hp.

For the third consecutive year, Ford will participate in Pikes Peak, the famous hill climb, with an electric demonstrator. Romain Dumas will be at the wheel of the Mach-E. He was already the one driving the SuperVan 4.2 in 2023. Last year, he won his fifth “King of the Mountain” title. Dumas also won the F-150 Lightning SuperTruck.

The 103rd edition of the Pikes Peak hill climb will take place on June 22, 2025.
