The Nissan Leaf in tuning mode with Kuhl Racing

The Nismo version is not bad enough for sports car enthusiasts, the Nissan Leaf can get a much more complete aerodynamic kit from Kuhl Racing. From the old to the current generation, the Nissan Leaf has made a significant leap in terms of style. More modern, it is not yet enough to the taste of some Japanese, particularly Kuhl Racing (pronounced “Kool”). This rather specialized Toyota car trainer has already cut its teeth on electrified vehicles, the Prius and C-HR.

Here, the Nissan compact sedan gets a full kit. Among other things, we note the front shield with spoiler, side skirts with deflectors, roof spoiler and the enlarged rear extractor. A special feature in terms of wheels, the 19-inch Verz rims are on the right side of the LEAF, namely the driver's side in Japan.

Finally, the air suspension reduces ground clearance by 3 cm, the wheels having a slight camber of 3°. The total price of these elements is 1.4 million yen, or €11,180.

Already modified by Nissan

Shortly after its launch, Nissan entrusted its electric vehicle to the Nismo sports department. The Leaf received its Nismo livery with aggressive but sober fittings, reshaping the lower bodies and bringing two-tone rims. Launched only in Japan, the Leaf Nismo does not provide any additional power.
